Quick question – is this form necessary if NASBA has all your transcripts etc?

Per the instruction it’s required if:

    (a) completed all or part of your undergraduate or graduate studies claimed for licensure outside the

    United States; or

    (b) completed all parts of the Uniform CPA Examination in another state.

both (a) and (b) are N/A but I’m getting conflicting advice from colleagues. Help 🙂

    Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know the answer to this? The instructions per the actual form read as theronfrombk posted above. The instructions per the NYSED website read as follows:

Have all of your educational institutions submit Form 2 and your transcripts to the State Education Department only if:

    (a) you received your post-secondary education in whole or in part from outside the United States, or

    (b) you have already passed the Uniform CPA Examination, either in New York or in another jurisdiction.

Notice point (b) is not the same on the website as it is on the actual form. I talked to several colleagues who've received their license and they did not fill out Form 2, but I don't want to get stuck waiting an extra two months if they claim something is missing. Thanks!

When I applied I took my exams in NY, went to college in USA, and wasn't a CPA in another state…I didn't fill out form 2
