So, I am taking my exam this Friday and was reading over the NTS so I can be prepared before I go in there. Says you need 2 forms of identification.

I have my Driver’s License which is valid and all.

But what else can I carry. The form is kind of confusing to read or maybe I am reading to much into it. My passport which is valid still is in my maiden name as I have recently gotten married and it Costs to get to that redone. What else can I carry that will work?

    Thank you!

    FAR - 46, 79 (7/8/14)
    AUD - 56, 59, 2/23/15 3rd times a charm!
    BEC - 69, 74 Really??
REG - April, I hope. Fingers crossed!

The Prometric Center that I go to says that only one form of identification is now necessary. For my first exam I gave them my driver's license and a credit card with my name on it. Then they told me that only one I.D. is necessary.

I take my drivers license and a credit card as the back up identification.

They only look at my drivers license / NTS and don't bother with asking me for anything else. Most important I would say is your valid Drivers license and NTS.

Also take soft ear plugs as they can come in handy 🙂

How about credit card with your signature on the back.

I always take my passport too, but they only ever look at my driver's license. My prometric center has soft earplugs they will give you if you request them.

Depends on which Prometric you go to – The San Jose CA Prometric does not have earplugs and so they told me to bring my own.

I handed them both my passport and my driver's license, and they kind of laughed and handed back my passport without even looking at it.

Yeah I brought a few forms of ID and they only looked at my license… I was very surprised.

They only looked at my license.

I did take my own ear plugs. I used their noise cancellation headphones as well. It helped a lot.
