Freaking out over my FAR sims

    Without getting into any disclosure mess I’m wondering if I really screwed the pooch on my FAR sims.

    I had some that required JE’s and obviously one of the choices is no JE is required. Some of the questions would give 4 or 5 lines to fill in and I would only use 3 or 4 for the actual entry and I would put the no JE is required choice after the final line of my original entry – I was just trying to not leave anything blank but looking back I’m not sure if this was correct.

    Do real people actually look at the SIMS or is a computer just going to see that one entry and mark pretty much everything incorrect? I don’t want to go through this whole mess again because of something stupid like this…

    You're fine. FAR is 100% computer graded, but it is less sensitive than that. I did the same thing as you and filled everything in, and my SIMS brought up my grade based on my score report. At the same time, other people in my review class left them blank and scored highly as well. I'm convinced it makes no difference.

    BEC - Apr 2012 - 85
    AUD - Apr 2012 - 89
    REG - May 2012 - 78

    Dude, my FAR sims were RIDICULOUS when I took it a week ago. Complete boner-kill after I thought I did really well on my MCs.

    @ scoop – I felt the same way. I sat yesterday afternoon and I feel like I have a FAR sim hangover. I walked out with a headache and still have one now!!!

    Started sitting in May 2002, on and off. But since 2008 I've been nonstop and my scores are....
    AUD - 39, 48, 56, 65, 68, 73, 76!!! (Finally passed in Oct 2011!!!) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley
    REG - 75 (Lost Credit) 72, 68, 73, 75 (Passed again in Aug 2011) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley
    FAR - 65, 68, 75 (Lost Credit) 68, 73, 73, 80 (Passed again in May 2012) Roger, NINJA, & Wiley
    BEC - 65, 68, 71, 72, 72, 71, 76 (Lost Credit)- 70, 76!!!! I AM DONE!!! - Roger, NINJA, & Wiley
    After 10 long years of studying, I AM DONE!!!! Finally a Licensed CPA in the State of New York!!
