From Staff to Campus Recruiter

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.

I am currently at staff 2 and I have to tell you that I have been unhappy being an auditor since my first day. I really don’t like the job and working 80+ hours and travel Monday-Friday really got me. On the other hand, I love the company that I work for – I love the culture and the people.

My office is really small, less than 200 people, and I would like to stay with my company but I don’t see any other opportunities outside audit and tax besides campus recruiting. I feel that I don’t have the auditor personality. I am such an extrovert and sitting in front of the pc it’s the end of me. 🙁

I was wondering if any of you could give me some details about the good and the bad of a campus recruiter. Such as work load, travel time, salary, challenges and etc.

I am looking for a change in my carreer. There are things that I want to do in my life that are not in sync with my current job: be a mom, don’t travel as much, have a work life balance.

    Thank you!

    Khloe

    Hi Khloe,

I am in a very similar situation. I'm trying to explore other options within my firm because I know for a fact that auditing is not for me.
