I keep getting points off on the Wiley sims; for a segment reporting question I said must be greater than $250 to pass revenue test, and it said the correct answer was $250.5… Then for a depreciation question I had $5885.71 depreciation because of that previous sim and it said the correct answer was $5886. No explanation as to how they want rounding done.. Really hope the CPA Exam is more straight forward!

The exam is more straightforward. Don't worry about it while you are studying. As long as you know that you understand the concepts and you are getting the question right (with the exception of rounding), you're good to go!

Thanks, I hope so! Not only that but I just did another sim where the instructions clearly state to use a minus sign for negative numbers, which I did, and it marked wrong because I didn't use parentheses instead lol >_< I swear 85% of the sims I get wrong are for things like that.

I love it when it marks me wrong for not using a comma, when a comma isn't even an allowed input 😐

I know it doesn't matter, and I should focus on the concepts, but I want the question to be moved into the “answered correctly” category so I can focus on the material I still need to learn! [/rant over]
