I take REG tomorrow and had possibly the scariest dream EVER last night! I had a dream that I arrived to the testing center, started out strong, then FELL ASLEEP for a couple of hours and had only 10 minutes to complete all of my SIMs. I left the test center crying in my dream, and the only funny/redeeming part was that at the end, the testing proctor offered to make me some dessert for some reason. lol

Anyone have any good CPA exam dreams they wanna share?

Haha!! That made me LOL!!

In the only CPA-related dream I've ever had, I was walking through a desert holding a tablet. There was nothing around me for miles but sand and cactus. From the tablet was this monotone voice, endlessly talking…on and on… I start pushing the screen to stop it and it won't stop. I smack it around and even break parts off of it. I've just got to end this horible monotonous sound. I can't make it stop. Its droning on and on and is just about to drive me mad. Finally I wake up to learn I've fallen asleep listening to my audio Listen n' Learn with Phil Yaeger lecturing about business law. I was never so relieved to find an off button!

hahahahh this is funny.. i had no such dreams but i quite often do day dreaming” that i will BE CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT SOON” and will celebrate it with my family in Vegas LOL ..:D

Same here, @Nam! I am 2 days away from hopefully taking my last test…having troubles not thinking about everything I will be doing on score release day and after…including Vegas!

wow….these are funny. Too much studying can make us mad…keep studying fellow cpa candidates and good luck if you're test taking soon. the rest of us will keep studying till we dream about it 😀

After taking a section of the exam, I usually have recurring nightmares about my scores. I have taken two sections of the exam. After each exam, I had dreams about checking my scores and discovering that i failed. (luckily that has not been the case either time).

I'm in CA, and my scores are usually updated in the wee hours of the morning. The night before the scores are released, I have have several dreams about checking my score and constantly wake up throughout the night to check my score..

In one of my dreams, apparently I was complaining OUT LOUD about computer calculator and kept thrashing around trying to reach night stand to retrieve a real calculator left there since studying before the bed time. All of this had been observed by a passing-by spouse who was heading out to work earlier than usual!

On the question of what is happening, I apparently opened my eyes and said something about exponentially multiplying rabbits!!!! I don't recall this other than dreaming about some white fluffy bunnies running around.

very bizarre, but proves the my point that with this test studying hard in not enough, try to study super diligently coupled with no social life and lack of exercise and one might end up dreaming weird

Only had one bad CPA dream so far.

Studying for REG, dreamed I took too long on the MC and only had like 1/2 hour for all the SIMs. This was about 1 month before the exams.

I woke up the next day and shifted my studying to focus on SIMs and completing MC in a set amount of time. During the test I left myself 90 minutes for SIMs. It was more than enough time and given what I saw on SIMs, I'm glad I spent more time preparing for them.
