What would one expect to look out for when conducting compliance audit on medicare/medicad and their payroll. Audit already completed on financial report and was unmodified.

Tip tip tips please. The partner knows I haven’t done auditing before but employed me as think I can manage. Team of 2 doing the compliance.

This is where journals and other AICPA guidance comes into play. I would spend some time reading. You can find what you need through your firms existing resources, online, or at your university or local library.

    Good luck!

    What type of compliance?

Tripp11 and I have both done compliance work in the healthcare & life sciences. You can use it as a segue into forensics down the road if you position your experience properly. That's what I did.

I have no concerns. Was just looking to see if I could offer up any advice.

There is plenty of guidance out there. The type that would help you would really depend upon the scope of work.
