I just took my Reg last Friday and to be honest, I never had so much confidence in an exam before and I think this is the one.

Anyways, I was recalling something during my exam. I know I’m not suppose to repeat questions that I got on the exam, but the question itself is too short to memorize and plus, I got it twice. I swear to god. I don’t recall the options because I was confident my answer was right.

When I got it the second time, 3 things hit me hard.

1) Is the exam mocking me?

2) Did I get it wrong the 1st time?

3) Are they calling me stupid and giving me a 2nd chance?

Anyways, I just found it weird, but anyone ever got this before?

I got the same situation before in my BEC exam, so don't worry. However, I don't think we should discuss any specific question that you have in the exam.

I got a repeat question on FAR as well. I am confident I answered the first one right. When I saw the question again, I just went back to my calculations on the paper, re-did it in my head and selected the answer.

I edited your post. Including (or even alluding to) an actual question is specifically what you agreed not to do when you logged into your exam.

That said, yes I saw the exact same question twice on an exam.

On BEC I had a question so similar it may have been identical. Fortunately, I was confident on that one so I prayed they would keep coming 🙂 During FAR I got literally the exact same question 3 times. Even though I felt moderately confident I was getting it right, it really psyched me out because I thought it was a sign I was failing. Badly. I guess my takeaway would be: hope the duplicates are something you know but don't over-think it. I think we look for signs and patterns in these tests, but so far I haven't found them to be very reliable.

I would be worried to get the exact same question, because it is usually not exact. It might change the% or change the order of answers, or ask for a different calculation. I mean but if you say exact, then hope it's the question to get correct to get the coveted 75 or maybe it's a one of those sample questions that doesn't get a grade.
