Hi guys/girls,

I just got my scores from 2/25 release date and I got a 73 on AUD. I feel quite discourage. After the test, I thought I did well on the MC and so so on the simulation and it turns out that my MC was sub-par. Especially discourage over the weak performance w/ Accounting and Review Services section of the test. I was so sure that I got that part lock down. This sucks. Now I can’t retake until early April.

Keep your head up! It's better to be very close to passing rather than really far away. Keep studying, follow your same studying habits, identify what you have trouble on and focus on it.

73 isnt that bad to be honest. I know it sucks to have to retake it but maybe a week or two of more studying puts you over the hump. Sometimes it also comes down to the luck of the draw, where the questions are just ridic and there is no way anyone would pass. Keep your head up.

AUD is so tricky. I felt so confident on both of my tests. I just knew I scored at least in the 80s. Both of those 72s were a complete shock to me. My solution was to get angry. And let me tell you, it works. Get angry and work really hard to get vengeance on AUD. Drill your weak areas, read and rewrite the AUD ninja notes, and do a ton of MCQs until you really understand the concepts (not just memorizing the answers in the test bank which was my downfall).

A 73 is so close. Do a comprehensive review, especially of the areas you feel weak on, then take AUD again. This exam is such a bully. Just get angry and show it who's boss :). Good luck!

I just needed to vent. Not giving up. I'm determine to get my CPA.

I have been there, same experience. Try to read the mcq 2-3 times before answering the question and get an answer in the mind and then look upon option and you will not go wrong.
