I am going for my MAcc for this fall, with the recent requirement change in colorado for cpa. (It used to be one of few states requiring only 120, now it is 150 for licensure)

That said, I was accepted at couple of schools within CO; CU boulder, UCDenver, and DU.

Not sure if anyone here would be familiar with these colorado schools, but wanted to get some advice as I am really torn between mainly Boulder and DU. Ive ruled out ucd as I do not think big 4 is too realistic there, not that its going to be any easier for me at any of the other schools. I know none of these schools are really known at all for business, xept DU actually having some reputation for its tax program in the past, which Im not sure if it still does.

Tuition, location, cost of living all important but my main concern is a better shot at being recruited by one of the big4.

I know that Ill have some work to do, but going to the right school I believe would be the first step.

I did hear that they recruit from both schools. DU is private but they offered a scholarship thatll put its tuition right at boulder level or slightly below for me. And afaik, cost of living and all would be pretty similar. One thing I noticed when visiting DU was that, majority of the students seemed chinese internationals, if it matters somehow, at all.

I would really appreciate any insight. I am meeting with a program director at boulder soon, and really need to make a decision quickly at this point. Sorry for my poor grammar, typing on ipad is often pain.
