    Hi,

I was wondering does anybody know of a consultant or recruiter that specializes in dealing with job offers for candidates based outside US with a CPA? Or any consultant that hires ppl and then outsource them to other companies?

    @ n.ACMA:

I have never seen any recruiters specialized in foreign candidates. But I think recruiters could tell you whether the companies that they are recruiting for sponsor H1B, Transfer, or Greencard.

From what I have seen in my accounting MBA program, most of international students did not even get any accounting jobs until they passed all 4 CPA exams. Once they had passed exams, they started getting offers from companies.

    Currently:
    CPA - Class of 2013
    ALMI (Associate, Life Management Institute)
CISA - Passed in 2011, Certified in 2014

    In Progress:
ASA (Associate of Society of Actuaries) - EXAM P (O), EXAM FM (O), EXAM MFE (X), EXAM MLC (X), EXAM C (X)

@Kay: thanks. I have already passed 3, just REG remaining but as I understand unless congress increases the yearly cap on h-1b its pretty difficult for accountants as most permits r taken up by tech companies.

I passed my CPA exams in 2013 from Colorado state but residing in New York. Did you guys know any recruiters who can help me find a job? I have valid H1-B visa till June,2016.
