Hardship issues

    Does anyone know if state boards extend CPA credit awarded past the deadline due to hardship issues?

    It is possible but it has to be an EXTREME hardship, as in the death of an immediate family member, catastrophic illness (as in you were hospitalized for an extended period of time), or a natural disaster.

    My train of thought is that if you had such a hardship, the CPA exam credit wouldn't even cross your mind.

    Thank you mla1169 for the information. You are right about the CPA exam not even crossing your mind. I will contact my state board. I wish you all the best in this world.
