Has anyone scored high 80%+ on their respective CPA programs and NOT passed?

If I just keep drilling out the MCQ’s within my Becker program and score at least 80%, should I be in the clear?

Or are the results of your MCQ’s from your CPA review program not exactly representative of your actual test performance?

Just want to get a tally..

Used Becker myself…pounded out 80%+ on almost all subsections and smoked the exams…except REG…did not feel like it was representative personally. I'd say you're in good shape. Good luck

hmm…I've been hearing that a lot — how about Becker doesn't prepare you well for REG. I'll definitely need to supplement when I get there

well i clocked in at about 80% for REG, and ended up with a 90 on the exam. i supplemented becker with 2 + years doing personal and corporate taxes as a job.

i clocked in around 75% for AUD and ended up with a 76

i clocked in around 70%-75% in FAR and ended up with an 84.

so my experience is similar to baseball CPA

so if you are in the 80% range, you should feel comfortable, but dont get overconfident. take your time with the questions.

I was scoring on the high 80's overall for REG progress test and ended up with a 71 🙁

    FAR 76
    REG 76(2x)
    BEC FAILED (2x)
    AUD FAILED (2x)

i am under the impression that those progress tests have a tendency to ask the easier questions. I found that my % correct under progress tests were higher than using wiley or just taking becker qs section by section.

I was scoring 75% and up for FAR and BEC and passed.

I was scoring 80% and up for REG. Hopefully I get some good news next week.

I was using the Wiley test bank.

I was getting 80-90% on mcq quizzes from Becker before testing. You can see my scores below. I think you are in the ballpark to pass.

    Bec 4/11/11 91
    Aud 7/11/11 75
    Reg 8/31/11 80
    Far 5/24/11 86
    Ethics - 98

yes!! so it seems like the majority end up scoring higher on the actual exam vs. the becker mcq's. hopefully i fall under this category..
