I’m currently studying for BEC and I’ve taken all other 3 exams except I am still waiting for my score release for REG. I wanted to take BEC within 10 days so I can get both my REG and BEC scores at the same time…. I just wanted to know if it’s doable!!!

    FAR - Passed

I plan on doing it in 13 days. I'm coming right out of college so all of that stuff is fresh. If you're in the same boat I'd say its probably doable.

    FAR (05/23/16) - 75
    AUD(06/09/16) - 77
    REG (07/11/16) - 68
    BEC (07/25/16) -

I would say no, but I see college has passed both FAR and AUD on top of each other so what do I know. Be sure to let us know how it goes tomrrow and best of luck college!

If you are studying BEC and feel that it is easy enough to cram and be successful, then I would say it is possible. It is a big risk though for the small benefit of having your scores released on the same day. You won't be able to take BEC again until October of you fail it (if you invest a little more time you start to turn the odds of passing in your favor).

Almost always from my phone... please excuse my typos!

yes if all you do for 10 days are studying i think you can cuz i did mine in 2 weeks and i was in the middle of my busy tax season working 80-100 hours per week. basically i had no life listening to the becker lecture when i prep tax returns and read the lectures on my commute home everyday and survive in coffee when i get home to do extra few hours study. i passed but my grade is not that great.

    AUD - 77
    BEC - 78
    FAR - 79
    REG - 82

@mckan514w…ill be an idiot with you! haha. It took me a month and a half to get through my initial run when I attempted last window. Then another 3 weeks of review. It comes easy to some but not all.

I think mla's question is the key to us being able to advise you. If you're like collegecpa and have had short study periods for other exams with success, then by all means go for it. If you're studying full-time, then for a single-week cram, you should be able to get in 60-70 hours of study (yeah, that's a long week, but for one week, you can put in the effort), and that's enough hours for BEC.

However, if you're like more of the people on here and doing 3 months for an exam on average, then to think that you should re-do your whole method and switch from 3 months to 1 week just to get in 1 score release, that's crazy.

Given you're even considering it, I'm guessing you're not a 3-months-per-exam person. But even if you've been doing a month per exam, 1 month cut down to 1 week is still an extreme change. I'd consider doing 2 or 3 weeks instead to not risk having to wait till October. However, my risk appetite is generally quite low. 🙂

If the BEC material is coming easily to you, then go for it. But be willing to reschedule at the last minute (I think 24 hrs in advance is the shortest re-schedule that's allowed, though at a large fee) if your scores aren't high enough. If you're scoring 50's on MCQ's 24 hours before, you're not likely to pass day-of, and better to re-schedule a week later than to be stuck waiting till October.

Okay Ill be the one to ask….what is the purpose of trying to complete studying for an exam in only a week or two? I know you want to get these things done as soon as possible, but why not lower your workload and add some extra insurance by taking a few extra weeks to prepare? Study smarter.

    FAR - 75 (2/25/16)
    AUD - 80 (4/8/16)
    REG - 80 (6/10/16)
    BEC - 79 (7/19/16)

You only get one shot with the spirit bomb.

I think it's necessary to mention, I just graduated in May and do NOTHING all day every day besides study.

    AUD(06/09/16) - 77
    REG (07/11/16) - 68
    BEC (07/25/16) -

Thank you everyone for sharing your thoughts and experiences. I guess there is no real rush for me since my scores won't expire soon. I just hate having to wait another month for a score release. :/ best of luck to everyone!

I don't know how you guys stay awake past 4-5 hours of studying. I am healthy and fit and even have a cup of coffee before a studying session. What's the secret?
