    Hello,

Well i am taking my first section (FAR) April 21st, I have never worked in Accounting (graduated last May with a BS in Accounting, and i do not remember much. I have CPAExcel…how do i invest my time most productively? I quit my teller job last week so im free 24/7! I just pretty much don’t know a thing about Accounting…if i dont take it…i lose it…6 months gap.

If you are studying full time , one month is a good time.More than that i feel you start slacking, am talking from my own experience. I have major concentration issues .. You can easily put in 8 hours a day with sufficient breaks in between and not burn yourself out. Make a schedule and stick to it. I used becker and went through the videos made notes and then did the mcqs in the end. Also practice the AICPA released questions.

    Finally done!!! Experience-pending. Ethics- Pending.
    Reg 78 / 73/82.
    Aud 74/89.
    BEC 72 /78.
    FAR 74/ 73/ 82.

Follow the NINJA method. Lectures + write notes, tons of MCQs, rewrite notes, more MCQs. Create a schedule based on how long it will take you to watch each lecture or answer questions. I always add a little extra time for note-taking. Good luck!

    BEC: 73, 81
    AUD: 85
    FAR: 71, 77
    REG: 74, 75...finally DONE! ๐Ÿ˜€

*This is my 2nd attempt at the CPA exam. For all of you who have failed this exam many times, given up on it, or taken a break like me, remember that it is still possible to finish what you started...failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently ๐Ÿ™‚

Happy studying and good luck to you.

Since it is your very first part, why did you pick out 4/21 as your test date? Do you know that it's just one day later for the first wave cutoff?

If you take your test earlier than 4/20, score release will be 5/5. Otherwise you get it on 5/23.
