Hey, I passed my last section on 31st August but still didn’t receive the congratulation letter from NASBA! Could some one tell me how long I should wait for it???? I am in MA!

I's probably on its way. A lot of states send out the letters on the 1st of the month following the end of a testing window. Since September was the end of the window in which you passed your last exam, I would expect an October 1 letter, so it could be in the mail.

I'm in CT and I received my last passing score May 3, and received my congratulatory letter from NASBA the first week of July. NASBA also didn't notify CT Board I had passed until July 1.

I believe MA works the same as CT for this process, but I am not positive.

It took about 8 weeks for me in MA. If you've satisfied all of the requirements go ahead and get the license app from the website and send it in.

I was so panic regarding all this process! I am planning to apply for non-reporting CPA and I believe I am qualified!!

I have mailed my final transcript to NASBA for my master academic review. I also have got all my reference letters and my notary stuff on hand!!

Now according to your experience, I think I will go ahead and mail the application package to MA board on Monday!!

are you still waiting for NASBA's review of your transcript? That may make a difference, check with them to see if you need to wait for that before you send anything in.

oh I see…I called them before, about two weeks ago! They said, since when I applied for test, I was still in my MBA school so they need me to mail the final transcript. Then I mailed. They said they will mail me a letter after reviewing it for next steps. But they confirmed that “a letter” is not the congratulation letter…I am so confused…I will call them on Monday then!!!

By the way, how many letters did you get from NASBA? Only one congratulation letter? Thanks!!
