When I took the Becker’s final exam in Reg I allocate 75 minutes for the simulation and I end up with extra 30 minutes on the first and extra 20 minutes on the second exam. I am a slow reader as English is my second language so I need more time for M/C questions than the natives.

My question is how similar are the Becker final exam to the real exam. In other words in your opinion should I adjust my timing during the real test or not.

    FAR:83 (first attempt)
    REG:86 (first attempt)
    AUD:93 (first attempt)
    BEC:82 (first attempt)

Are you sacrificing accuracy for the sake of speed in the MCQs? In other words, do you honestly feel that you would have gotten a higher score on the multiple choice had you taken a longer time to do them?

If not, I would continue doing what you're doing. The added stress of test day plus the perception that the real sims are harder than the Becker sims means that you may need that extra time.

I agree with mypetmeatball. I find that I myself always finish a practice exam with time left to spare. I would give yourself 75 minutes for the simulations and then divide the remaining time over the 3 testlets. I would then force yourself to use the alloted time for each testlet. You might find that you are running out of time this way and if that is the case just keep moving on. With exam day jitters and everything I would guess you will use every minute available! Good luck!!
