    Hi,

This question may get asked a lot, but I’d like to be advised directly on what I am curious about.

I will be studying Finance & Accounting from next January. Since I am transferring, I have only 2 years till I grauate. Is it frequent for undergraduates to be offered a full-time job from BIG 4? Or should we get CPA before applying for BIG 4?

Are there big accounting firms which usually offer a full-time job other than BIG 4?

My first advice would be to use the search function on this forum. It's extremely helpful.

However, here's some posts that might be helpful:

How on earth do you get a job with Big 4??????

I'm new to this forum. I am an undergrad student looking for some guidance.

Preview: CPA is not essential. Heavy networking, extracurricular, attending a school with big 4 recruiting, and good grades are much more important.

No you don't need the CPA before you graduate to have a big 4 offer. In fact, it would be very rare for someone to have passed all exams before graduating. Some states won't even let you take the exam without a degree. However, they won't hire you if you won't have 150 credits before you start working. The educational requirements is what they really care about, because they know you can take the exam while working. Like the guy above said, good gpa (MINIMUM 3.2) and good networking at events/career fairs. They like to target certain student organizations, like Beta Alpha Psi and Accounting Society, so try and join one of those if you haven't already.

    REG 81 (4/15)
    AUD 78 (5/15)
