Hit quit exam instead of continue!

So today, after taking what I was hoping was my last exam, I hit quit exam instead of continue after completing the SIMS. I then blindly hit yes to quit three times. I was just so drained and wasn’t thinking. The prometric staff said my computer didn’t show finished, but then told me everything was fine. Everything I’ve read said my test should have saved, just wondering if anyone else has done this. As if waiting for my final score wasn’t stressful enough.

Wow…that sounds awful!! For what it's worth I do think the answers are saved each time you exit a testlet, so you should be ok. I feel for ya!!

    AUD - 72; 87
    REG - 64; 74; 84

I almost did this after BEC or REG. I don't remember which. I actually hit quit, and then when I read the warning I was like “this doesn't seem familiar” and I fixed it.

It was after the SIMS for me too, so I think it would have been ok, but it made me nervous for a second.

I know they r saved as you key them in bc at the 3 hr mark of my far test all of the computers at the test center froze and went offline The proctor came in and had everyone turn them off and turn them and then the techies had to work on the issue and no answers were lost

I did this in may for reg! Almost had a heart attack and the prometricc people told me I needed to calm down and go home. All was fine and I passed! And added bonus I didn't have to take the dumb survey!

Wait, you aren't supposed to quit the exam after the Sims? I feel like that is what I always do? Maybe I'm just not thinking clearly right now. It always makes me nervous that the option is there to quit before the end.

    FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
    AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
    REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.

I think I may have done this for AUD. I didn't think anything of it until I realized that I didn't answer all those survey questions they ask at the end. All was fine and I got my score as scheduled.

    FAR 12/3/14, 87
    AUD 2/3/14, 90
    BEC 4/1/14, 88
    REG 5/27/14, 94

you would have real concern if you hit quit after the MCQ's but Im not sure what the big deal is here, you were done with the test.

I took my fourth exam on Monday and I still had to make a conscious effort NOT to hit “Quit Exam” after each testlet. For some reason, I keep associating that with just quitting whatever testlet I'm on and moving to the next one. I nearly did that after my first BEC testlet, so I'm sure glad I read that screen before I did!

Based on what everyone is saying in reply, though, it looks like you'll still be good. Actually, if I need to retake FAR I may just hit “Quit Exam” when I'm done just to get out of the survey, lol.

This post is causing me anxiety, and I'm done with the exams! If you did this after the SIMS, it isn't a big deal. You just didn't complete the survey at the end.

Studying with Wiley Review, Wiley Test Bank, Ninja Audio.
    Retakes with Ninja MCQ only...awesome!
    Far - 1/28 72, 7/22 79
    Aud - 2/28 70, 8/14 83
    Bec - 4/10 80
    Reg - 5/30 64, 7/2 82

Honestly, when my computer froze and the lady came in and turned the computer off and on, I asked rather sternly if she was 100% certain all of my data up to that point was saved. She had the slightest pause and then meekly said yes. I knew at that point she wasn't entirely sure. So for the next 20 mins while the techies were workin on the situation, I was rather worked up. I have to say it did throw me off and when the test came back online I was not in the same mindset as before it went offline

You will be fine, all the answers are actually saved. I did the same thing with AUD cuz I finished the exam with 30 mins to spare and I didn't want be staring at the computer for the next 30 mins so I quit the exam and I passed.

    REG -63│ 84!!
    BEC- 59│70│ 71 │78!
    AUD- 75!
    FAR- 87!
