How can I get out of the habit of changing my answers

    Hello,

I should be getting high scores on ninja MCQ for the topics I am studying, but I keep changing my gut answer to a different one. Anybody have any suggestions on how I can break this habit?

For example: I just did 20 practice questions on contract law, and should have had a 90% (2 wrong), but I changed my answer 3 different times and got it wrong making my grade 75% (5 wrong).

I really need some advice on this, as this is costing me valuable time, and points.

BEC: Need to pass, lost creedit.
FAR: Need to pass. MY MOUNT EVEREST
Reg: Need to pass, lost creedit.
AUD:  Need to pass, lost creedit.

BEC: 75 lost credit, could not pass far 🙁
AUD: 76 lost credit could not pass far 🙁
FAR: 74, FML. Next exam 06/14/23
REG: 75 lost credit could not pass far 🙁

It has been statistically proven that students' first answers are almost always right.

Just don't change them; resist the urge to change them, it's very very unlikely that your changed answer is correct.

I will only change mine if there is something obvious I missed in reading the question the first time. If you have all the facts, your first guess is probably the best.

    FAR - 08/30/15 - 90
    AUD - 11/12/15 - 92
    REG - 01/19/16 - 82
    BEC - 02/29/16 - 83

Passed all on 1st attempt using GLEIM (full program) and NINJA (MCQ only)!!!

I think this is a confidence issue. You need to have confidence in yourself and know that you put a lot of time into studying and are prepared to answer whatever question the exam gives you. Walk in that testing center feeling confident and the rest will fall into place as far as changing your answers. Like cpagal said, only change your answer if you clearly missed something in the fact pattern the first time around (maybe you missed ‘except' or ‘not'). Otherwise, you were likely right the first time.

    A - 75
    B - 78 God is good.
    F - 77 Answered prayers.
    R - 84! Done!!

Paperwork sent - waiting for license!!
Still on a cloud and in shock. Through God, all things will happen.
