This is the first test I took and the California board of accountancy posts scores on its own website. Although the release date is the 9th, is CA delayed 1 – 3 days? I would really like to know my score. I tested the Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving and assume Prometric sent the scores before 12/1. Thanks.

Jeff's talking about the last release date, not the most current one which should be happening on the 9th. I took REG on 11/3 and got my scores the day before the NASBA states got their scores.

Good to know that CA did release before target date. I took REG on 11/26. Will be nice to get the score today (Monday), Tuesday or Wednesday. I hope I passed it.

Ya that was my last score! Back when NASBA made sense it was 6am the following day after actual release (even on a Sat if Fri release). Since this clock has been up its been weird. The first release with the clock CA got scores 6am (PST) of the published date, NASBA people around midnight of the published date as I recall. The last one, there was a weekend delay…so published date was Monday…in the old world NASBA people would get the scores Friday and CA people Sat. CA people still got em Sat but NASBA people had to wait until Monday.

If I had to venture a guess…I would say CA gets scores on day of published release at 6am…..on a Monday release Sat before….but nobody really knows with all this wacky NASBA stuff lately

Here's the general rule (in my experience with 5 releases):

-Scores come out at 6 a.m. on the NASBA “target date” unless that date is a Monday. Then the score reverts to a Saturday release.

-The confusion about score release is due to the NASBA state discrepancy. Back when scores came out early for NASBA states, California would get theirs “late”. Now that scores for NASBA are coming out later, California gets their scores “earlier”.
