What is the best way to prepare for the Sims for FAR? I am entering a review stage in less than a week, and I haven’t really looked into too many SIMS on becker. I hear that they tend to focus on journal entries. How did you all prepare for your FAR sims? Should I be going through the textbook and looking into each example where they give you a fact pattern and then show you the entries to make?

I would just do all of the sims in your study software and memorize JE. That's the best way to prepare- just get a feel for the difficulty of the sims and definitely know the entries. I have saved most of the sims for last too.

AUD: PASSED [81]; Expired, retaking August 23rd
BEC: PASSED [83]; Expired, retaking July 11th
    REG: PASSED [83]
FAR: FAILED [64]; Retaking May 23rd

I also left SIM review for the final week and I spent about a day and a half going through SIMS for topics heavy on JE's. Just make sure you are familiar with your material and knows the JE's. Besides memorizing them, understand the DR/CR entries. If you have time, it'd be great to go through all the SIMS in your review course but that might take up time. You could instead focus on MCQ's and know the material better.
