I keep getting this kind of email below. When I looked at where it is from, it has my own email address in the “from” category, except that I did not send it, and when I checked my “sent emails,” there is no record of me sending it. Besides, why would I send this email to myself? I am just wondering, is there a way to stop getting this email?

I would change your email's password, looks like a virus hacked your email account. The virus is trying to obtain your contact information to send you more viruses.

Do you have your resume posted online on monster or careerbuilder? Companies have programs that scan those websites and send mass emails. Take your resume down if you have it published or if you're also getting hits from legit employers delete the spam ones. Apparently Aflac thinks I'm perfectly suited to sell insurance lol and emails me weekly.

All right, I changed my email password. And I checked and made sure I deleted any resumes I may have uploaded to my CareerBuilder account. But I am keeping that account for now, just in case if I need to use it in the future, who knows.
