Hi all,

I currently work for a mid-sized public firm, and right now, we’re not super busy. Sitting at my desk listening to Radiolab and looking through upcoming client workpapers from last year is getting a bit old, so I’m here to ask: What do you do to pass the time while work is slow?

Edit: I can definitely find ways to pass the time on the internet when I’m at home, no problem. But I don’t want a partner to walk by and see me on Tumblr or anything, lol.

If you're still waiting to get your license check into your states rules about when you can start earning CPE credits. Might as well knock some out if you can!

This is usually how it goes: study, FB, Another71, study, study, online shop, talk to coworkers, another71, FB, online shop, try to study, go home.

I'm going to venture a guess that this doesn't help you at all

@brooks Haha, I do spend a lot of time on another71! Unfortunately I don't use Facebook, and I usually do talk to coworkers for a good portion of the day.

Don't get me wrong, I'm really glad to be done studying. But it would at least give me something professional-looking to do!

At the moment, study. After I get done with all that though I tend to browse Reddit,imgur, A71, Yahoo Finance, Facebook, try to find new music on Grooveshark.. It's a busy day. I'd like to get my CFE after I get done with the CPA and some of the studying PTSD wears off.
