What do you do the last week before your exam? Lots of MCQs? Rewrite notes? Read the book? Sims? I am scheduled to sit Jan 5 taking REG. I have failed twice before and I’m kinda at the end of a rope with this whole process.

I would do at least 200 MCQs and 10 SIMs every night, and about double that on Saturday. Sunday, I would do just a few dozen MCQs and a SIM or tow, and take the rest of the day off before taking my exam on Monday.

The most important thing during the review is to hammer out your weak areas. If there are still things you are confused about you need to focus on those. It is so easy to stick with what you know to build your confidence, but that isn't going to help you on the exam. Do whatever you need to do to learn the weak areas. If you aren't getting the MCQ right, then you need to go back to the book or your notes and review it more, then start quizzing again. I reviewed differently for each of my tests based on what I needed help with the most. Don't just do MCQ to do them. Have a method and make those MCQs count!

i would hit the questions very hard most of the week before. I personally do NOT like to do any questions or simulations the day before the exam. I simply like to look over all the material once more….lightly for the stuff i know well and spend a little more time on some harder points. I just don't like for my brain to stress the day before the exam and i certainly find answering mulitple choice questions to be taxing.

but two days before I am all for grinding out a few hundred questions if you can.

Take a practice exam to identify any weaker areas. Then make flash cards based on material especially focusing on weaker areas. Then go through your flash cards a couple of times.
