    I've had the following commutes:

    1st job: 1.5 miles

    2nd job: 0.5 miles

current job: 4 miles (10 minutes)

next job: 5 miles (13-15 minutes, depending on lights/traffic)

It has been fantastic living this close, and I would think very seriously before getting a job that required a long commute.

I leave at 6 in the morning, so my morning commute takes about 25 minutes. Afternoon commute closer to 35.

When I tried leaving later, it took me almost an hour both ways. Gotta love the DC area 🙂

6 stops on the subway, usually takes about 10 minutes. It's so worth it because I don't have to drive in traffic, and I don't have a car anymore. 🙂

28 miles, 28 minutes. My husband and I work at the same place, so we get to ride in together at least. That part is worth it – otherwise…………..well, I live out in the country so any place of employment would be a minimum of 15-20 minutes, I guess. It is worth it for me to be able to live out in the country though!

About 8 miles, about 30 minutes depending on traffic and public transportation.

Well worth it, for metro NY that's good commuting time IMO.

This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!

Live directly across the street from work, and still drive there:-) Can go out to my driveway and look to see whose car is in the parking lot at work. Can go outside the door at work and look to see if my wife's car is in the driveway at home.

The only problem with this is I am now spoiled. If/when this situation ever changes and I have a commute I'm going to probably b_tch and whine about it!

I have a 50 mile commute each way, so 100 miles round trip. Takes about 50 minutes to get to and from work. Definitely makes studying harder after work.

45 miles there and 45 miles back. It usually takes me anywhere between 45 minutes and an hour and a half. Traffic is a pain in the butt in South Jersey, but I love my job so it's worth it (most days LOL) 🙂

Mine is 20 miles each way. It takes a minimum of 35 minutes if there is no traffic, but is usually about an hour, sometimes more. It's the part of my job that I like the least.
