How important is it to hit the Review phase of Ninja MCQ? Jeff says that you have to answer every question correct to hit the review phase. Right now, I have 1438 questions not answered correctly, and around 2 weeks before the exam date. So even if I were to answer every question correct in my first attempt, I would have to correctly answer 102.71 questions per day, which I’m not sure if that’s feasible. Comments, suggestions, feedback?

I would try to answer at least 100 questions a day for you review period. Correctly would be nice too.

I used NINJA for FAR, BEC and REG. I never hit Review. I got about 50 to 60% into adaptive learning and stopped there.

But the big thing is that I used Becker as my primary source material and NINJA to supplement it. For every section, I did every single Becker MCQ at least twice and most were done even more than that. If you use something other than NINJA as your primary source of review, make sure you complete that 100%. If NINJA is your primary source, then you absolutely want to hit the Review phase.

Final piece of advice that I toss out a lot. You're going to start to memorize questions and answers. On these questions go through the motions anyway even though you know the answer is “elephant.” If it's a calculation, remind yourself why you are using the calculation you are and then recalculate it. If journal entries, write out the journal entries. If conceptual, take a moment to go “I remember that the answer is Elephant. The reason it is Elephant is because of… And the reason why Cactus, Fire Truck, and Black Holes are incorrect is because of…”.

Agree with AngelWatch. That happened to me and I clicked the correct answer, but then went through the question and stated why each incorrect answer was in fact incorrect. Also why the selection was the correct answer

Gotcha, I can definitely do that. And I can do 100 questions per day. It's just that I'm not sure if I can do 100 questions per day and answer all 100 correctly.

Pushing through mcq's. I have went from 30 to 20 to 10 question mini sets trying to get in at least 200 questions. I not getting good scores. I thought mini sets would help me get on a roll before I chicken out and reschedule for July. I just don't like getting so many wrong :-/ .

Might not ever reach review :-/

@tncincy – if you are consistently getting a lot wrong, you need to better understand the material. While MCQs are great, if you don't understand “why” something is a certain way, you will not do so well overall.

So I have about a week left and I still have 1262 questions not answered correctly. I don't think I'll be able to reach the review phase.

@Determined I wouldn't worry about it too much. During my FAR retake I didn't hit the review phase and still passed. I can't remember what my trending % was but it was in the 70s I believe. However, I did do all the Roger MCQs and felt comfortable enough that I knew the concepts well enough. Just keep going through the MCQs and follow the advice of the above posters. I know how you feel because I wanted to hit the review phase too but I decided it wasn't going to happen and I was better off working on my weak areas and just keep going through the material. You can do it!

    FAR - (11/01/14) 71 (02/07/15) 79
    AUD - (04/30/15) 86
    BEC - (07/21/15) 73 (10/01/15) 75
    REG - (11/30/15) 55 (05/19/16) 74

Many people posting in the trending vs actual post above didn't hit the review phase.

    Keep pounding MCQ.
