I signed up for the exam on April 28th , March 15thish…

Anyway with quarter end and everything we have been super busy at work. Now that things are slowing down i can really put time into studying id say about 3-4 hours during weekday and 5-6 hours on weekends (i cant study for much more than that as it would be waste of time i would not be retaining any information..my brain doesnt very well when i cram.

My question is should i reschedule this April 28th test date and pay the $35 fee or is it possible to finish studying in 25 days?

Also what happens if i fail the test can i retake it in a month? What is the fee for retaking the test.

By the way i am using Yaeger CPA review and i am on module 26 tomorrow.

I believe you can only take each exam once per testing window. So, you wouldn't be able to sit for REG again until July 1st. I just started studying for REG yesterday and I am planning to get in 180-200 hours of studying to test on 5/27.

    FAR 12/3/14, 87
    AUD 2/3/14, 90
    BEC 4/1/14, 88
    REG 5/27/14, 94

    First time: 4 months

Second time (almost 2 years later, initial one expired): 4 weeks.

    Similar results.

You cannot retake in a month. If you fail, you have to wait until the new testing window.

    Licensed Florida CPA:
    B: 71, 73, 79
    A: 83
    R: 78 (expired), 77
    F: 74, 74, 80

    It's finally freaking over.

If you're not testing again in this window (a different test), move it back if you're not comfortable. I'm starting today and testing on the 27th. That being said – I sold my house yesterday, have the quarter close at work for the next couple of weeks, we went live on a new ERP system April 1 (first close will be April – so first week in May AND we have to be out of our house May 12th), and my staff accountant resigned effective May 10th. Nothing can EVER be easy!

    FAR - 87 2/18/14
    AUD - 84 4/2/14
    REG - 87 7/23/14
    BEC - 78 8/26/14

    Good luck to you guys!!
