I believe in a two-tier state that you are a PA until you have fulfilled the work experience requirement. As far as how long the licensing process takes in your state once you have passed all parts of the exam, I'm not sure outside of my state (TX) which I have heard takes 2-4 weeks.

    REG - 86
    FAR - 80
    BEC - 79
    AUD - 92...I'm done woohoo!

    Licensed CPA since Feb. 2014

Depends on the state. And you may never use CPA on your resume until you have a CPA license number in hand. Using it prematurely can jeopardize your ability to become licensed.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

Looking for the certification and licensing process for Montana. I do have over 10 years of experience but as I am in Canada I have to find someone who can verify my work . Will Montana state take experience verified by a Canadian CA?

I have done some work for a US based company as well and the companies auditors can verify this work but how can they verify rest of my work

Please advise if anyone has gone through similar process

I took the CA in Canada (BC). The licensing for the CA, CMA, CGA is now a CPA (Charted Professional Accountant). You can do your experience in Canada and send it to the appropriate US state board. I'd call and double check on both sides of the boarder. In my case that was the ICABC and the California state board of accountancy. I did part of my experience in Canada and had it send down the the California state board.
