I am pretty confident about my own written communications abilities and granted the Writting part is only 15% of the exam, how much of the three hours should I save myself for the three written questions?

My brain is fried from studying right now.. was it 3 written communications? I think I went with 15 minutes per written communication so 45 minutes total and that felt like the perfect amount of time. I'd consider myself a fairly proficient writer as a basis for comparison. Keep in mind that you do want to give yourself time to re-read and double/triple check for spelling and grammar errors. I think written communications are easy points as long as you pay attention to what you write. If I recall correctly, you don't need to be 100% accurate… just make sure it is relevant and written properly (grammar, spelling, etc.).

45 minutes. MC = 85% of your score. No reason to allocate 1/3 of your time to 15% of your score. Becker (or whichever review program you use) should provide you with some answers. Look at these answers, get a format down in your head, follow said format, and you'll be fine. On my memos, I literally wrote nearly identical answers.

I left about an hour and 20 minutes. If you know the material fairly well and have a set format in mind, you should have no problem. Save about 5 minutes per essay to review it for any obvious errors or typos.

45 mins was what I used and it was tight but I finished all of the prompts. Remember that content isn't the primary focus so dont let yourself get stumped and just “sit” on a question. Formulate a response and structure it well and if you have time you can come back.

I also left 45 min. I used every second of those 45 min too. I put myself as an above average writer, but not amazing. Oddly enough, I scored STRONGER on WC and WEAKER on MC…. and passed. So do not underestimate the significance of the WC.
