For review? I usually do like 100-300 a day, depends on the day.

For studying whatever is in the lessons for the day (anywhere from 20-100+)

    We all study different.

    REG: 80
    AUD: 82
    BEC: 83
    FAR: 83

Break it up. I've done probably 90-100 per day,but I've been doing that most days for 3-4 months every day(besides lecture days). Do the math….

It depends on the subunits of each unit. I try to focus on a few subunits each day but if that subunit has a lot of questions then I will focus on that subunit only.

    AUD - 90
    BEC - 78
    FAR - 84

I would go through a section at a time and work on the MCQ for the whole study period that I set aside, whether that was 50 or 200 would be different based on the length of questions and how many was in a section. It really will be different for each person. I didn't move to the next section until I had done all of the MCQ for the prior section. When I got tired of MCQ I would practice SIMS or rewrite notes.

CPA Exam - Finally DONE (November 2014)
    BEC (08/10/13) 80
    AUD (08/24/13) 65 (11/13/13) 85
    FAR (04/12/14) 81
    REG (07/19/14) 69 (11/29/14) 87!!

I did my reading straight through, then my MCQs straight through, so however many I could do in 6-8 hours on a study day. If I could focus, for most of the tests, I could get down to about 30 seconds per MCQ, so probably 100 per hour on a good day, so a few hundred a day.

However, I'd only do MCQs for 3-5 days as my final review before the exam, so it wasn't a few hundred a day for months.

I think it also depends on if the questions are mostly computational or conceptual. When I was studying for audit I could easily do 120 a day. When it comes to math intensive questions I'm burnt out at like 40 mcq.

I'm doing my first section which is auditing. I average about 80 questions spread through the day in groups of 10-20. The auditing questions go very quickly though, not sure about other sections.
