I’m actually surprised I could get a slot for this date. I think the extra 10 days are a godsend because FAR is so brutal. I’m on F8 (government) and I am so unmotivated.

Can I ask OP or anyone else a general question?

Up until a few weeks ago, I had always heard “sitting for an exam” or simply “taking an exam” maybe. Now all of a sudden I'm hearing tons of people say “writing” the exam. Is this new, or a regional thing, or am I just now noticing it for the first time? Just curious, thank you.

In the US – you take an exam.

In Canada – you write an exam.

In the UK – you sit for exams.

I’m still getting used to a check vs a cheque.

Haha at first I didnt understand why people use “write” since I am so used to the term sit or take. Im also taking BEC on the 10th. Nessie, u wanna make sure u understand the JE for Govt and NFP and any other JE. Good Luck!

@Nessie Congrats on the lottery selection! I have a feeling you're going to pass this exam. Good things come in threes. First you get 10 extra days, then the lottery selection, and now its going to be a passing score for FAR. I'm registered to take Reg on June 10th and definitely making use of the extended window for my other sections.
