Just curious, how often should i use Wiley test bank? After every module chapter or in the middle of each chapter?

I did it after every chapter when I was using a book to study. You could always use the questions in the book as you are going through and then use the test bank when you are done with all the chapters since the Wiley books have so many questions in them. Or you could do a short 20 question quiz from the test bank on all prior chapters covered before you start a new chapter. That will help keep all the prior stuff fairly fresh as you are going through more and more chapters.

I use the book to answer questions as I go through the chapters, and then I use WTB for studying during my final review period.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

I won't touch it until after completion of the video lectures. Then i hammer out MCQ's for about 2 weeks straight.

    Just to give another perspective…

My method was to read the Wiley books straight through, without doing any MCQs (unless I worked a couple randomly to make sure something was sticking), and then after reading to start drilling MCQs in WTB. For me, everything seemed disjointed while I was reading and I found that doing the MCQs really started to pull it all together, so I felt like I understood the big picture sooner by just reading and getting to the MCQs sooner. This obviously varies from person to person though!

I did/am doing what Lilla did. All the lectures/chapters with no MCQs (besides what the videos walked you through), then I went through the Wiley Test Bank, and I'm using the book as my final review, since I find I learn from the explanations in the book much better than the explanations in the test bank. As I'm going through each chapter, I'm writing down any explanations in the answers that I think I'd do well to review before test day. I'm on track to finish the book Wednesday night, and I test on Friday. I'll do a quick skim of the notes I've taken during MCQ time on Thursday night, and listen to NINJA audio on Friday morning on my way to Prometric.

    FAR - 79 (11/27/13)
    AUD - 76 (2/1/14)
    REG - 77 (5/30/14)
    BEC - 88 (7/18/14)

    MN Ethics - 100% (3/9/14)

    AND DONE! 8/1/14

I did what CPAMommyof3 did. For me the information sticks better once I do the MCQs, so it was more beneficial to do the questions after reading the chapter and writing notes for that chapter as well. Then after I was all done I would do questions from previous chapters to make sure I remember the information.

I think you have to try different things and find what works for you. HTH!

Hoping 2015 is better...- Wiley MCQs; Ninja Notes; Flashcards; Audio; Becker Live Review
    REG- 2/2014 82
    AUD- 10/2014 72, 1/2015 73, 4/2015 84!
    BEC- 7/2014 70, 11/2014 70 (this must be a joke) 8/2015 77!
    FAR- 7/2015 76!

For FAR and AUD, I would read the material while taking notes in Excel. Once I finished all of the material, I did every MCQ in the WTB and kept separate notes on what I didn't immediately understand. Last 2 days, review material notes and WTB notes. I didn't feel comfortable doing MCQ until I got through all material because I wanted to at least be familiar.

For REG, after getting through the tax material, I did more so what Lilla did and wish I had done it for FAR, AUD, and REG tax since it takes so much less time. I just read the material and did not take any notes. I've found that I actually retained more of what I only read than what I read and took notes on. Reason being I missed the big picture taking notes because I was breaking up what I was looking at to take notes. I couldn't see the forest for the trees, per se.

For BEC, I'm reading through all material, hammering out WTB while taking notes, then re-read material last few days while studying WTB notes.

Just to add on to my WTB strategy, I start with the topic with the largest number of questions since it's most likely that those topics are most tested. Then I work my way through each section by descending number of questions per topic. For FAR, I started with the lowest because it just seemed to be easier, but by the time I got to the topics with the highest number of questions I was burnt out and not as motivated.

    FAR: 4/19/2014 - 85!
    AUD: 5/27/2014 - 90!
    REG: 7/18/2014 - 81!
    BEC: 8/13/2014 - 84!
