How poorly can you do on audit sims and still pass?

I took audit yesterday. When I came to the end of the 3rd testlet I was thinking to myself, “Wow, am i acutally going to leave Prometric feeling confident that I passed?” The multiple choice was that easy. First testlet was cake, second was definitely a harder testlet but still easy and third testlet was the same. My guess is that I maybe got 10-12 multiple choice wrong in total between the 3 testlets.

With that being said… How poorly could i have done on the sims and still passed? Becasue I feel I did pretty poorly. I had one Research sim and I know I definitely got it right. I also knew about 90 percent of another one. Id say the other 5 sims were 60-70% guesses. I couldnt even look them up in AL becasue they were _____ or ______. Since I only had one research I know one of them will be thrown out.

If there is anyone who has been in this position or felt like this after an exam what was your outcome? Or does anyone have imput as to how bad you can do on sims and still pass? What are my chances?

    Any response is appreciated!

Good question. When I took FAR, I did not finish the exam. I had 2 minutes left and 3 of the Sims were blank. I inputted zeros or my first guess. To my surprise, I passed. According to the score report, I received Stronger in every category except for the Simulations. It was a close shave. I think it is possible that you passed based on you description.

    AUD: 94 (Nov. 2013)
    FAR: 76 (Oct. 2013)
    BEC: 79 (Nov. 2012)
REG: 84 (Dec. 2013) It's Mile 26.2, and we finished. Blood, sweat and tears, passion, perseverance, and never giving up, we did it!

I took AUD last month. Like you, I felt like I dominated the MCQs, but I left prometric feeling like complete shit after the SIMS. Ended up getting a 72. Stronger on the MCQs, Weaker on the SIMs.

I find audit their marking is harder. Means you think you do well but you get lower score. Whereas all the other section it feels like you did poor but you end up with a great mark.

If you do really well in the MCQ you should be fine.. I was in the same situation as you.. I felt like I got 95% on the MCQ but sim was a different story where I messed up 2 questions. However, I was still confident that I passed the exam turned out I barely did.

    AUD - 78
    BEC - 83
    REG - 82
    FAR - 82 (11/22/2013)I am done!!!!!
