How quick does PwC move?

Filled out an application to PwC for an experienced audit associate position. Basically all I did was submit a resume, wanted to see if they would bite. Sure enough they emailed me and I ended up having a conversation with an HR person. It was an extremely quick conversation that ended in them saying I would be contacted by a recruiter who would be in charge of setting up an in office interview?

Phone call was Thursday, no follow up yet. I’m wondering if I just completely blew the conversation with the HR lady, and if/when it would be appropriate to follow up with them?

Now what the hell do I do?

What is your work experience? If recruiting does not work out for my I'd like to take another shot as an experienced hire in audit and would like to know what work experience works best.

They set up my office interview at the end of the first phone screening/phone interview. That may vary though

I had a HR interview and they set of the office interview right after that. However, in my experience they move fast, fast, slow , fast. Such as, I was in constant contact with the recruiter I gave her my transcript, and then I did not hear from her in a week. I thought well, I guess that is over. Then they called me a week later, and set up a interview and then an in-house interview. I don't know what happened in that week of down time. But it was a fast process. This was also for an experience audit potion, I think, but then they said it might be for staff. So now that I thinking about it, I bet they gave the experience hire to somebody else, and they might be bring me on for a staff! lol I would be grateful anyway! I love how this turned in to something about me, but that was my experience.

Thanks for the input. I was contacted by an HR person a week ago, the conversation was very quick and it ended by being told I would be contacted by a recruiter to set up an in person interview and that their process was very quick. Nothing but silence since…I followed up with an email asking if there was still an opportunity for an interview, no response to that either…I'm not overally concerned about it as I have a great job already but would at least like some sort of answer

    Hi

I hear you. It is like you are being sidelined just in-case. I am in the same boat, I have a great job as well! I wonder if there is more liability in telling somebody they are not hired, and therefore the silent treatment.
