    NINJA Question –

Ok so I just bought Ninja MCQs and I am completely confused on how to use the program. I have used Becker for all my other tests so I am not familiar with any other style. Do I just need to start doing MCQs under “Study Session” and that will eventually get me through all of the questions? ( i have done that but I am seeing the same questions repeat). Or should I go in and customize it to do a section at a time (I did that with customizing it so I only do new questions but then does that mess up the “adaptive learning”). Also, what do the three sections mean on the dashboard “assessment, adaptive learning, review”. I don’t understand how to read the dashboard or how those three correlate to MCQs . I know you can set it up how you perfer but I want to use the program how it was designed and the way that will be the most effective. Thanks for your help!

PS. Is there somewhere within the website that can explain everything?

I would start by drilling down topic by topic and getting a foundation. The “new” questions don't mess up your adaptive learning overall because it keeps track of what you've missed.

I would start doing sets of 20 over a topic or subtopic and then eventually do them in the normal mode (just let the software feed them to you as it sees fit).

@Jeff – can you clarify? Do you mean go to Custom and choose to do sets from each section first?

I just bought them for FAR, but when I used it for AUD I had limited time and just kept selecting “MCQs” under study session. Never got to the adaptive phase but all I was aiming for was drills at that point. With FAR I'd like to approach it a little more methodically.

    AUD - 96 (Becker & Ninja MCQs)
FAR - 85 (Becker, Ninja MCQs, Audio and Blitz)

Yes – Custom + MCQ and pick a topic…do 20-30 questions over that topic…make it as broad within the category (selecting the whole category) or narrow (select a topic within the category) as you would like.

Thanks for the quick response! I was a little confused as to the format. Maybe add the “recommended strategy” to the FAQs on the MCQs page? I'm assuming it is in the study guide too, but it might be helpful for someone looking for a quick answer as to how to use just this portion of the program. That being said, I apologize if it is available somewhere obvious and I just missed it. FAR has my brain quite muddled.
