How can you find out if you can work from home in an interview? Specifically how should u go about asking it. Or is this something that shouldnt be asked in an interview like salary.

I recently interviewed someone and she said during the interview, “is this a position where there may be a future potential to work from home during part of the week?”

While my answer was no, I though she worded it very professionally.

Unless the position is advertised as telecommuting possible I wouldn't ask. While working from home is becoming more popular and has proven benefits to morale and productivity, it is still far from the norm.

I don't think it's bad to ask about it, but of course, you need to be professional in how you do it. I would probably phrase it something like: “do employees here work standard office hours or are there opportunities for flex time?”
