Hello all, I’m just looking for a little guidance here. I am 26 and I just started my first accounting job two months ago with a company in Atlanta and it’s been ok so far, but I know it’s not what I want to do in the long run. I have two years of prior experience as a management trainee/credit analyst at a regional bank. I want to get into public accounting but I’m not sure exactly how to do that. I have a bachelor’s degree in accounting from a regional university in GA and an MBA from a smaller school in GA (where my GPA was a 3.9). I realize that Big 4 probably won’t happen due to my schooling but I’d like to get in with a medium sized firm. I just received my NTS for BEC and I’m planning on taking it in either late February or early April.
Any decent advice out there?
