Hi ninjas – I scan through some old threads but really couldn’t find a specific answer. I have a bachelors already but need additional units to fulfill the 150 requirement. If I take those classes in another univ, do I add another section on my resume with my new gpa? And how would I present it, is it considered as “post baccalaureate”? M sure many of us here r on the same boat just not sure how to go about in putting it on our resume. Any advise ?

I am interested in hearing this as well. I finished with a sub-par 2.95 in my undergrad (BS in Finance). I am now nearly finished with the accounting classes I need to sit and have earned almost all A's. I had debated adding an “Accounting GPA” line.

Presentation subjectivity. If you are trying to over shadow a poor GPA you might add a line highlighting your additional units and the GPA:

Such and Such School – Fulfill CPA Education Requirements

    30 Units of Accounting Coursework

    3.90 GPA

Or you could have a line in an overview section that mentions your all college GPA, but you dont want anything that is intentionally misleading like blending the GPA into your undergraduate degree, as the GPA for your degree is only those courses you took to get that degree.
