So I posted this elsewhere but here it goes again…

I failed FAR with a 74 and lost my credit for audit (I literally cried like a baby from about 3AM until 5AM). Anyways…I have taken FAR like 100 times and am finally going to buy some supplemental materials. I’m thinking Wiley and Ninja MCQ (in addition to Becker). Any suggestions on how to study using three different materials? It’s hard just using one but it seems like multiple test banks are the norm….

    BEC - 76
    REG - 76
    AUD - Expired
    FAR - 74 (10/24)

You didn't miss the mark by much, just need to put in some more time. With taking FAR “100” times, I would abandon the material you used and go a different route (it sounds like it was Becker – kill it). Start fresh with ninja, I believe the FAR book is out for ninja. If you're uneasy about using new material with little reviews, go yaegar, cpaexcel, roger, etc. Definitely start fresh though. I wouldn't add another supplement until I knew I had the time. So you might want to go cpaexcel and if time allows, buy ninja mcqs. Or maybe you're so close all you need is ninja mcqs and just hammer mcqs and refer back to the material you have. You should have a pretty good idea what your weak areas are and how you learn best (lecture, reading, mcqs, repetition, flashcards). I like the ninja audio for commuting to/from work. I play the chapter that I feel I need the most help on and then when I get home I review the same area in Becker and hit mcqs. Just keep at it, something will click.
