How do I fix this? I’ll have it narrowed down to two answers. I’ll pick one of the two, pick one of them, decide its not it, go with the other, end up being right on my first pick. How do I fix this? I’ve done with literally a dozen questions in the past 45 min.

Keep practicing! Understand why the answer you picked was wrong and why the other answer was better. Watch out for the words used, as simple words like all, only, may, must or should, may trick you. Some are also suggesting to go with your first pick, they normally end up right.

Always go with your gut. Your first instinct is normally more correct than the second. I had trouble with this also for AUD until I started making myself go with my first choice and not change an answer unless I knew for certain it was more correct than my first choice.

    FAR - 46, 79 (7/8/14)
    AUD - 56, 59, 2/23/15 3rd times a charm!
    BEC - 69, 74 Really??
REG - April, I hope. Fingers crossed!

Good advice here. I'm a big fan of just going with your gut. It may not always be correct, but rarely is it worth the time on exam day agonizing over two answers. If they are that close to where you can't get it 1 minute of time, odds are giving it 5 minutes probably won't do you very good. Take your 50/50 shot and move on to the next! Save the agonizing for the sims where you can actually make a significant impact on your exam AND have some material to search in order to back up your thoughts.

So I finished 500 mcqs this weekend. I think I might have worked this out. I'll start going with my first guess for now on, seems to work best. Thanks for the tips everyone!
