I can’t seem to pass AUD with Gleim

I just got my grade for AUD. I studied my butt off with Gleim and covered every area. I walked out of the exam confused amd devastated again. My study materials were not hard compared to this exam. I just got my score today and I am devastated. This is the second time taking the exam. The first I got a 73…now I got a 74. I need better study materials for the TBS. I don’t think Gleim prepares me well for the exam. Any ideas?

I passed AUD w/ Gleim. Got 77. But I didn't practice much TBS/SIMS from Gleim. I got Ninja. You must have done good in MCQ's. I think SIMS might have been a difference between a pass. I would suggest you still use Gleim, and get Ninja MCQ's package for SIMS. In my opinion those were closest to actual exam. Also, please note that SIMS are pure luck of the draw. Hang in there, and keep at it… you will get thru!

    AUD - NINJA in Training
    BEC - NINJA in Training
    FAR - NINJA in Training
    REG - NINJA in Training
    AUD - 67, 62, 77 (lost credit), TBA

    FAR - 53, 48, 58, 62, XX

    BEC - 53, XX

    AUD: 68, 62, 77✔ (expires 10/31/16)
    FAR: 53, 48, XX (retake 6/16)

    BEC: 53

Yes, I believe it was the SIMs again. The first exam I did really well in MCQ but weak in TBS. Some of the questions are foreign to me. I guess because I am not really an accounting major even though that's no excuse. I will look into Ninja. Thank you!

I use Gleim as well and feel it has prepared me pretty well for the exams. It does seem to contain a lot of information but I am the type of person that would rather see as much information as I can. But sometimes that can be tough since your brain can only hold so much info!

I started using Ninja MCQ as supplement and I think it really pushed my scores over the edge! I also added Ninja notes for AUD – it was a really nice condensed version of notes. Every test I have used it for (BEC & AUD) I have passed 1st try once adding Ninja.

You really can't beat the price and it just helps to get more questions and information put in different ways. You can always usually find a code to give you a discount as well which makes it even more affordable. Give it a try!

    FAR - 73, 78! (1/5/15)
    AUD - 73, 83!!! (7/1/15)
    BEC - 85!! (5/19/15)
    REG - 65, 80!!!! (11/16/15)

I passed AUD with gleim. I failed the first time. Aud has a lot to do with look. Add ninja to spice things up. I did get a chance to look at an excel book at the book store and it's basically much the same as gleim difference to my understanding is that gleim has wayyyyyy more mc and sims to practice. Keep at it you will get it

AUD 69, 92 7/15 Gleim and Ninja test bank

    Hi Trish and KEIT,

Thank you for your response. I just feel like Gleim isn't hard enough as compared to the actual exam. I am researching NINJA now. I have a BEC exam next week Friday. Do you think Gleim is sufficient or should I add to it with NINJA? (Keep in mind that I do work so my studying time is unfortunately very limited)

Also, I haven't started studying the written communication part for BEC from what I saw through research and forums, you are basically graded for grammar and style and not really content. Do you have any advice on this or do you agree?

I am still in shock and really discouraged after viewing my grade this morning. I will have to take early October while the information is still fresh in my mind. Pray this is the last time because I am exhausted!

Also, I was recommended to use Becker study materials as it has a “100%” passing rate (exaggerated I know). Do you think Becker is better than Gleim. I gathered from NINJA that it consists of MCQs and SIMs but not really reading materials?

Thank you for your advice again.

I think Gleim is sufficient for the exam. Every exam I have taken, I have never been blindsided by anything on the exam so I know Gleim covers pretty much everything you will see on the exam.

I definitely think you should try Ninja MCQ though – but it is up to you with your limited time before the next exam. It is less than $40 with the coupon code – HIYA. You get lots of MCQ and even simulations/written communications and you can do full length practice exams. It is nice because it hammers your weaker questions so you really get to know them!

It is always good to see questions and information from a different angle and wordings.

Becker may be good – I have no experience – but I heard it is pretty expensive so it might be worth it for you to try NINJA first.

I wouldn't worry too much about the written communications – I really think they grade on grammar and your professional writing style. Just try to get 3 paragraphs – opening, middle, and closing. I think on Ninja and Gleim you self-grade, so just practice a few to see how it will be graded and call it good.

    FAR - 73, 78! (1/5/15)
    AUD - 73, 83!!! (7/1/15)
    BEC - 85!! (5/19/15)
    REG - 65, 80!!!! (11/16/15)

@ Angelique90242 I know how you feel. I was sooo frustrated when I saw 69 on AUD I scored in the 90's on fake exam. I had many conversations with people in this forum about gleim see the link below lots of responses great discussions abt gleim in this forum…. Anyways, NO NO NO NO I know tons of ppl who failed with Becker gleim offers the same “100% guaranteed Or free access till you pass” Becker is over priced they just market the product very well. Gleim and excel (in my opinion after lots of discussion and looking at excel book) are just as good or if not better, plus the cost wont break the bank. Gleim has wayyyyyy more MC and SIMS compared to all products. On AUD I struggled with changes in ratios and audit findings (book does not detail that stuff nor does any other I checked) and that was my whole sims on the real exam so I almost fell of the chair at the exam. the second test was very difficult but not as crazy as the first one… sorry Angel I wish there was a product that would give us all we need to know but there is not this is y we struggle! I guess this is why all the products are called review course sucksssssssssssss.

I would only buy ninja. I used it for the second round although I believe it was not the reason I got 92

lots to do with luck and I am sending lots of luck out ur way 🙂 keep at it
