I got my score last night… 61 on REG. I studied for 9 weeks 10-20 hours per week. I used CPAexcel and Ninja Notes. After checking my score last night at 12 AM, I cried myself to sleep. I just don’t know what else to do!!! I feel so defeated!

    I don’t know how to re-study for this….

I have a full time job, and have 3 kids 17,15, and 5 that are all active in sports.. enough said.

How can I possibly put more time into studying and not take more time away from my family?

Sorry to hear that. I think you have to invest in the NINJA audio. All of those commutes to work and to the parks for sports are lost minutes studying. Good luck on your retake.

Sorry to hear that. REG is a tough nut to crack. I got a 63 on my first attempt. I was devastated. During my second attempt, I read the material, page by page and that's when it clicked. I also invested in Ninja audio and Ninja notes. It helped a lot. I am sure you can do it. Good luck!

I have failed REG 4x after thinking it was a done deal, so imagine how I feel. This section is no joke, and is harder than even FAR. I am using Gleim TB/SIMs bank on attempt #5, and they provide you with their book if you get the test bank. It is the closest thing to the real exam that I have seen. I was doing SIMs last night, and they are timed (1 hour) to simulate the actual exam. Gleim also provides you with the full IRC AL.

ShmeePA – I don't think Ninja audio is any different than the notes. I have both. Ninja notes/audio are not comprehensive enough for those that struggle this much with the exam.

I don't think there are any quick fixes. But keep at it. It does take time and reps before some of the material starts to sink in. I also have three kids and started studying last fall for this. I took AUD and also came away with a 61 or 62 and was crushed…for a day. I basically let myself feel bad for myself for the morning and had a drink or three once the kids went to sleep that night. Then just got back at it. Keep cranking away at the practice MCQ's and understand why the right answer is the right answer. That will help lay the foundation for the SIMs. At least that's what seems to have worked for me. It isn't easy, good luck.

    AUD - 85 (1/15)
    BEC - 81 (11/14)
    FAR - 75 (4/15)
    REG - 75 (7/15)

Have you considered the intensive class for Becker? It's expensive and it would take you away from your kids for 3-4 weeks, but then you would be done. The amount of time you studied for REG should be sufficient so there is probably an issue with the quality of the studying (interruptions, etc.).

    BEC - 82
    REG - 86
    FAR - 85
    AUD - 84 and I'm out!!!!!

Ninja flash cards and Brainscape on my phone helped a ton when I took my daughter to Gymnastics, a pool party, etc. I was able to use the time and still be present for my child.. It helped a ton with REG BLaw.

tcheney3 – No I haven't I have used the Becker material before as far as self study several years ago. Is that class live class? I don't think I can do the 5 weeks in Atlanta… I couldn't get off from my job that long anyway.

What about the Becker online fast pass? has anyone used that?
