Even though I dont go out on friday or saturday nights, I have absolutely no motivation to study. I sit in my room trying to study but I find myself browsing the internet and watching youtube videos or playing my games. Please tell me some of you guys also have this problem. Im pretty much posting this so I dont feel so guilty about not studying.

haha!! Just study so you can get this over with and get the CPA exam weight off of your shoulders. I am more than certain you aren't the only one procrastinating. I procrastinated to the point I have exams about to expire. So now I am in full blown study mode. It would be better if you don't put yourself in a tight spot like I have. Just get out in front of this while you have time and get the exams over with.

    A - 79 expires 4/30/16 need a pass on REG
    B - 78
    F - 80

I used to be like you until I started the following=

    https://pomodorotechnique.com/

My current promodoro time is 50 minutes, and I do around 11 per day as I'm not currently working. When I was working, I was doing around 4 per day. You dont want to take this exam after the 2017 changes.

I agree with @Martin, the pomodoro technique is great! Unfortunately, I only discovered it after I had completed my exams but it is very helpful in anything you need to accomplish.
I use the app on my phone and my pomodoros are 25 minutes each with a 5 minute break. A really good suggestion to try when you lack motivation or when you feel overwhelmed.

Yeah I suck. I do the best when studying at work (when I shouldn't be studying). I probably hit about 30 questions all weekend, but yet I've watched like 5 Super Hero movies and Star Wars (loserville).

When you've had no life for 13 months like myself, studying becomes the only mindset you know to have. Even when I'm not studying, I'm studying…

I found going to library on the weekend helps you focus more on studying. Just bring a laptop that doesn't have games installed in it.

I usually take off on Friday nights. You need to give yourself a break at least one day a week to avoid burning yourself out. Why not wake up early on Saturdays and study instead? You can put 4 or 5 hours in and be done early afternoon and have the rest of the day to do whatever you want.

I second what CPA2BEE mentioned, but i added 5 more months. When you've had no life for 18 months like myself, studying becomes the only mindset you know to have.

I've studied some Fridays before, I don't leave work unless I get 2 hours in or at least SOME questions. So study at work? I ALWAYS study Saturdays (if not, I force myself to do something productive).
