I originally scheduled to take FAR tomorrow but realized that i would not be able to study sufficiently, so i decided to take my BEC retake instead. I didn’t cancel FAR because I would have to pay for it. They are both schedules for 9;00 am. I wonder if they would let me take FAR after my BEC just so i can get an idea of what it will be like so the money wont totally go down the drain.

    AUD-70, 71, 85
    BEC-63, 76
    REG-77
    FAR-76

I am pretty sure after you finish BEC pretty quickly, you could take FAR but you would only have an hour and some change to get through it. Let me know if they let you do that!

I don't think they let you start exams after a certain point. I mean, if my exam was scheduled for 8:00 a.m. and then I showed up at 10 a.m. to take it, would they even let me in?

I'm not sure how that works. Call prometrics. I'm curious.

I don't think the scheduled time of your exam is set in stone AT ALL. I was able to take my exam whenever I wanted on Sunday because I got a call from Prometric in the morning that said they had open seats. It isn't like NASBA/AICPA opens up the exam at XXX time only for you to take and then it is gone. If they have seat availability, I am sure they could just start the next section for you provided you have two valid NTS.

Its going to depend on seat availability and the staff at your prometric. I'd call first.

Speaking of seat availability, because I came in early (which I think really helped them out), they gave me the handicapped accessible room which really made a difference in my opinion. Huge room all to myself, nobody next to me with ridiculous tendencies, and I could talk everything out loud which definitely got me a few extra points.

Juustin I think your situation is entirely different, they offered to let you come early so THEY the staff could get out of there as early as possible on a Sunday afternoon.

Giving someone more time than they are allotted on the day before Thanksgiving when everyone just wants to get out of work, I'm thinking exceptionally unlikely. Like would be a MIRACLE if they allowed it.

mla: I didn't think about the Thanksgiving angle. If they both were scheduled at 12:30pm, I could see them allowing her to come in early to take the shorter test which would leave her the entire time for the longer test. Since they are both scheduled for 9:00am, however, it may be tougher to get them to let her stay late. Good point!
