    Hi Roach

Do not feel bad. Working and studying for the CPA exam is not easy. It very difficult come from work tired and exhausted and try to study. God honest trust, preparing for the CPA exam is unpleasant as well as traumatic.

I am with you in this one. You are trying to accomplish one of your goals to become a CPA, It will be sweet and the end.

Hang in there my friend. It will be a light at the end of the tunnel.

Quitting a job in this lousy economy is economic suicide.

ROACH, had to say something positive since it sounds like you gotta go w/ decision at this point 😀 I have been able to study pretty much full-time & its infinnnitely easier. I think the info goes in & stays in a lot better when there aren't 12 million things competing for your attention.

I probably have less acctg background than everyone on here & it looks likely that I'll pass all on first attempts. You'll feel better when you start getting some 8-10 hr study weekdays behind ya! Best of luck 🙂

Do you already have the experience requirement taken care of? Whatever your state's requirement is?

Then I would say that in the long run, its probably a good decision. You'll pass the exam easily now and will be able to get back in the job market in no time.

I think so too – a risky move. But you have to figure out and pass this exam as soon a spossible…Try to finish up by years end and then apply again, hopefully by that time economy will get better, but i doubt very much, it will. Infact, i think it will get worse.

Roach, I remember you saying you didn't like your job at all.

So, direct all your energy toward passing those exams and look for a better job.

I wish I could say that the CPA would help you find a better job but I'm not sure anymore. Companies don't know what they want. Pray for luck to be with you 🙂

I don't really get why people quit their jobs to study full-time. Like many others on here, I passed with a full-time job, wife, 3 little kids, etc. It wasn't easy and it took a lot of sacrifice, but it can be done. If you don't like your job, use it as motivation to get the test passed so you can move on to a better job.

It's a gutsy move unless you're independently wealthy or something. At any rate, it's done now so good luck. Just stay focused and take this thing down!

As long as you're realistic enough to understand that when you're ready to go back to work, it could take quite a while to find something, good for you!
