I just took FAR here is how my exam experience went.

MCQ1- Not to bad.

MCQ2- VERY Difficult, I don’t understand how the MCQ could get so hard. I probably got half the questions wrong.

MCQ3- Easy, almost to the point of being insulting.

SIMS (What probably killed me)

I was comfortable with three of the sims, unfortunately I have the feeling that one of them will be thrown out. The other four I wasn’t completely clueless on but I got more wrong than I did right.

This is just such a bummer.

Please stop trying to guess based on the pyschometrics…no one will never know what they consider hard or what sims are pretest or worth more. Just relax and hope for the best!

I thought I nailed BEC(trying to judge the difficulty of testlets, etc) and woke up to see a 72…..

I walked out of Far thinking I bombed and got a 77, walked out of BEC thinking I got a 90 and got a 75…don't bother thinking about it, just wait it out

@golfball7773 I couldn't agree more… I never have feelings about my exams, I'm very detached from the process, lol. I train my mind to not form opinions on them. It is what it is.

A - 2/2/15 - 76: PASSED
B - 7/20/15 - 74, 73
R - 7/24/15 - patiently waiting for 8/25 score release
F - sometime in October

too hard to predict. Especially when in the moment we are trying to predict how hard our testlet was – too much emotion and stress to be accurate in the aftermath

plus so the 18 page psychometric pdf from the AICPA makes it almost impossible to judge

I had the almost exact feeling as you did after my exam and I ended up passing with a 78. You never know! Good luck!

payaza – try not to stress about it! After each exam so far I have felt like I failed. Especially FAR. My MC were difficult after testlet #1, but the real issue was my simulations. I couldn't find the research. Felt OK on 3 sims, and the other 3 sims I made educated guesses. You just never know with these exams!
