Failed my 3rd test in a row…..And they were the first 3 tests I took. 2 BEC and 1 Audit. Just found out I failed Audit. I’m not sure if I’ll continue. I don’t know what to do differently. so frustrating. I knew I might have trouble, but this is insane. I’m not sure if I can continue to waste time and money. Spent the first year of my marriage studying…..For nothing. Sorry to sound like a Debbie Downer, but that’s me right now. Congrats to all the passing scores today!!

    BEC - 67 | 69 | 2014?
    AUD - 11/27/13 - FAIL
    REG - 2014
    FAR - 2014

I felt the same way after failing BEC, a lot of people fail multiple times, but don't give up! Try switching study materials, do MCQS until you can't do any more, you will pass!

Not sure if your scores were close, but I failed 5 exams before I passed one. I too was wedding planning/then spending my first 4 months of being married studying (and failing, with some passes thrown in there). I felt like the saddest worst wife ever, so I know what that's like and it sucks. Heck, even as I had 3 tests PASSED and was waiting on my last FAR score, I was thinking “if I don't pass this one I might just be done with this sh*t” . Failing never got easier.

But in the words of great MJ (Michael Jordan, not Michael Jackson!)

“I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”

Whether you quit and or stay with it – will be hard. Only you can decide what's best for you.

PS – In my [critically-acclaimed official ranking] opinion of “hardness” of the exams, BEC was absolutely the worst and AUD was a close second. So basically you've taken on the evilest of the 4 first!

    REG - 65, 70, 80!
    BEC - 35, 62, 79!
    AUD - 73, 75!
    FAR - 65, 73, 70, 75! DONE.

Thanks everyone for the support/advice. I'm sure I'll try again, but I'm not sure right now. It's so discouraging. I guess i'll start looking or asking for people's study plans that pass with high scores. It doesn't help that i've been out of school for a bit too. Thanks again. Any advice welcome. 😉

If you can look in the mirror and honestly say you did everything you could in your power to study and prepare for the exams then I'd say it's okay to quit. If not, get back on the horse and fight on!

I have been in your shoes after failing AUD multiple times in a row but I faced the fact that I was not committing myself 100% to studying and preparing.

The thing to remember with these exams is to not get too high when you pass and not get too low when you fail. It's a journey and we are all here to support you along the way.
