Hi everyone. I just saw my score last night for AUD. It was 61. I couldn’t believe it. I was thinking 80s. I had the hard questions on my 3rd testlet and felt confident about half of my TBS. I was averaging 75% on my ninja mcqs. And I had a 71 on my last AUD try last testing window. Doesn’t make much sense right now.

I used Becker’s book and the Ninja MCQs. Any recommendations for study material? I already got an 85 on FAR on the first try, so I’m fine with JEs.

    BEC - 77
    AUD - 71 -> 61 -> 71 -> 67

what were you averaging and trending in ninja mcq? how many repeated and not scene questions, etc? Also, what areas did you get weaker in on your first test? Lastly, how much time did you devote to your second aud test?

    REG - 10/12/2015 77
    AUD - 01/06/2016 75
    BEC - 01/16/2016 75
    FAR - 02/27/2016 68 Retake 05/13/16 70 Retake TBD

Ditto above. Have you looked into Roger's program? It's pricey, so maybe you could look into his Cram session for Audit. I'm only using Roger and I took it in January and passed. My biggest challenge in studying for audit was keeping my brain engaged. It was hard for me to keep paying attention and recall what I had learned because it's all concepts and not math-intensive. Roger is very engaging and makes the material as interesting as someone could make it. Also, when you do the MCQ's, are you focusing on the answer explanations? It's important to understand why you got a question wrong or right, not just what the answer is. Good luck and keep plugging away at it – you can do it.

    BEC - 88 8/29/15
    REG - 82 11/14/15
    AUD - 83 1/8/16
    FAR - 80 2/29/16

@dave71 I was averaging 75% on ninja mcqs. I spent 30 hours on this 2nd try about a week before it.

@jdn9201 no, but I might have to. I pretty much exhausted my use of ninja MCQs and reading the becker book. Again, it's just a bit shocking because I did have a hard 3rd testlet, cause I killed the first 2, and to have such a low score.

I think you need to shoot for a higher average than 75% before sitting for the exam to be on the safe side.

Keep in mind the MCQs on actual CPA exam is adaptive. A CPA exam score of 75 does not mean 75% correct.

Began my CPA journey in 2012 using Gleim and mistakenly paid to take all 4 parts within 6 months:
AUD - 51, 47 (did not study properly)
REG - 39 (did not study at all, just took it on a whim)
Did not sit for FAR or BEC
    I gave up in 2013... 🙁

Resumed my CPA journey in 2016 using Gleim again with the following plan:
FAR - study Feb thru Jun, take exam 6/5/16
AUD - study Jun thru Aug, take exam 8/28/16
REG - study Sep thru Dec, take exam 12/4/16
BEC - study Dec thru Feb, take exam 2/26/17
