If I take my exam on April 20th, will I still be on schedule for score release?

April 20th is the last day cutoff for the score release on May 5 score release. If I take my test ON the deadline (April 20), will I be in good shape for the May 5th score release?

Has anyone taken their test close to the deadline and NOT received their score on target?

They sure don't go out of there way to make it very clear. According to the release schedule the AICPA must receive your test data by midnight the day of the deadline, and that for most test takers the test data is received by the AICPA within 24 hours of taking the test. Now, who knows whether it takes 20 minutes or 24 hours for test data to be released and received by the AICPA, but if it were me I'd schedule it for the 19th just to be safe.

Most people who take on the last day of a window do end up with their scores on the nearest release day. Scores seem to get uploaded immediately upon completion of the exam so you should be OK.

With that being said, I think some people have had to wait until the following score release period but they seem to be in the minority.

I'm taking REG too on April 16. How are you feeling about it? I feel pretty confident on most of the subjects for MCQ purposes but after all the horror stories I've heard, the sims scare the crap out of me.

I took two of my exams on a cutoff day, one of which I didn't finish until close to 6 PM, and I still received my scores on the scheduled release date. Unless your Prometric is having technical issues on the day you take your exam and don't transmit scores until later due to those issues, I'm pretty certain you'll get your score on the May 5th release date.
